My mom is so amazing. As is evident by the photograph, she is amazing at what she does. But what you can't see in the picture is how amazing she is for who she is. Mom came over today bringing me groceries. After taking care of it all, she helped tackle the laundry monster. While here, we took pictures of Alex with her precious baby quilt. Mom makes one for all her grandbabies. Alex is number sixteen. Each of my children's quilt is a treasured possession of theirs. Each hand sewn stitch represents just a portion of the love she has for them. I hope someday my children are able to appreciate how blessed they are to have this woman as their grandma!

My late Gr. Grandma Chalk made all of us a quilt too. Including the greats and great-greats. Morgan's was the last one she was able to hand stitch, the other 16 she had to buy pre made panels. They are do presious...I have a hard time lettingmy kids use them I want to save them forever but Morgan escepecially won't give hers up....it has already had to be "repaired twice :) I know your kids will see how much their Grandma loves them everyday and how LUCKY the truely are.
p.s. YOUR BABY IS SOOOOOO SWEET.
when can I come see her?
Oh my goodness! I love quilts and I know just what kind of work is put into each one. So much love, too! And sixteen? She is a great mom!
